Kitchen Renovation
We re-did the countertops, painted the walls and cabinets, and installed new floors. It was a lot of long nights, but we love the results!

15 months- Look what Gavin can do!
So here is a new update of the things Gavin is doing and saying. He is learning and growing so fast, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with all the words he can say in a few months. He is so much fun, and had developed quite the personality!
Physical Accomplishments:
- Gavin is now running everywhere!
- Has mastered going up and down stairs and is now trying to learn to go down forward (with Mom's help of course)
- Climbs on the couch, runs from one side to the other (mom and dad's hearts freeze in panic everytime) and now he climbs over the arm to get down
- Gavin loves basketball, we set up a nerf hoop and he plays with it all the time, is able to "dunk it" with both right and left hand
- Starting to color with crayons instead of eat them
- feeds himself with spoon/fork
- gives high fives
- blows kisses
- We've started introducing him to the potty and he proudly sits on it before his bath each night!
- jumps up and down in his crib
- still loves to figure out how things work and taking them apart. Cody caught him with a screw driver the other day trying to open the part of his toy where the batteries go....
- Love to open drawers and climbs in and out of the drawers in the kitchen
- Dances to music, bounces, stomps his foot, and turns in circles
- walks backwards
- Mama/dada Mommy/Daddy
- Allie
- Apple, Waffle, Nanna(bannana), dadoo(means chicken nuggets-no idea where he came up with that word) Gogurt (yogurt), Pizza (sometimes he calls it happy), cheese, juice, peaches
- Basketball, baseball, football (he know which ball is for which sport) Basketball is his favorite, since we put a hoop up he runs around all day saying Bask-ball, when he sees other kids playing, or the Jazz, or our ward... same thing.
- No! Mom says "Do you want to get out of the bath?" Gavin says "No", "Can I change your diaper?" "No".... while Gavin is pulling open a drawer he knows not to get in to he tells himself "no-no" but does it anyway....

Cody is an Amazing Dad. Gavin adores him and constantly wants his attention. He is home with him 3 days out of the week and everytime I come home Gavin has learned something new. I feel very blessed to have married someone who is willing to be so involved with their kids.
Gavin still takes great naps (morning 2-3 hours, and afternoon 1-2 hours) plus he sleeps from about 8-9pm to 8-9:30am) And he puts himself to sleep. We read stories, he picks out a toy to take to bed and I put him in his bed wide awake and he plays in his crib (usually throwing all of his stuffed animals out) and then falls asleep. Here are some pictures from the other night, he threw everything out except his baseball.
Once again I count my blessings every day for my wonderful family, and the fun we're having growing and learning together.

A Harris Family Christmas
Over the Christmas Holiday's we went to Colorado to see the Aguirre's (Cody's sister and family) It was lots of fun. Jessica (Cody's other sister) came along with Cody's Mom and Grandma. We were packed pretty tight in the house, but it was great to spend some time together. Gavin had a hard time adjusting to sleeping in a new place, and Cody and I spent many nights pacing around the house holding him, and trying to not wake anyone else up! But during the day Gavin had a blast playing with his cousins and learning lots of new things (like how to roar like a dinosaur and play with batman action figures) Here are a few highlights from the trip!
The Heel Click, Ashley Style
I took this picture while Ashley and I were trying to help Grandma Gayle down a steep incline, Let's just say we need to get her something other than clogs to wear hiking!
