We Love them Jazz!

For my Birthday Cody planned a few surprises for me, first he had family his Mom, Jessica, and my friend Jen meet us for dinner at Zupa's then, Cody upgraded our regular Jazz tickets to row 9 in the lower bowl. It was so fun! We were right by the Jazz bench.

Then one more surprise, the Jazz bear brought me flowers!
For our next game we brought Gavin with us, he had been asking to go to a Jazz game for weeks, unfortunately we also bought Gavin and Cody Deron Williams Jersey's... who knew he'd be traded a few weeks later?

The other night after I put Gavin down I heard him calling for me. So I go in his room and our conversation went like this:
Gavin:"hey Mom (he says very casual), I want to watch the Jazz game"
Me:"no buddy, it's time for bed"
Gavin starts crying and jumping up and down (no more casual talk) "no watch the Jazz game
Me: (I pick him up and say) "how about I hold you and sing you a song"
Gavin:(puts his hands on my face and leans in real close) "how about, watch Jazz game in the living room"
Me: (trying to keep a straight face) "how about no negotiating, your choices are I sing you a song, or you can lay in your bed right now"

I finally convinced him to go to bed, but I have admit we're definitely on the right track to raising a true blue Jazz fan!

When life dumps a bunch of snow in your driveway...

Build a sledding hill....

First Gavin helped Dad shovel the sidewalk and driveway...

I started working on the hill while those two worked. And Cody finished the hill while Gavin and I made lunch! After nap time it was time to play...

We had lots of fun!

Interview with a 2 Year old

We recently got a book from the library and Gavin kept calling it the "capowower" book. I couldn't figure out what he was saying until a few days later we went to read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and then I discovered he was trying to say Caterpillar, I decided I better catch it on video before he learns to pronounce it correctly!
